About B grade
B-grade parts are made to the same spec as A-grade. Sometimes milling reveals a knot or check that couldn't be seen in the blank, so we sell those pieces at a discount. These are the same calibre as our A-grade stocks but have a chip, a small void or a knot. We supply pictures of typical blemishes that lead us to grade them B. We can't sell them as A grade, and we don't want to see the beautiful walnut go to waste.
About the M1941 Johnson
The M1941 Johnson is a short-recoil semi-automatic rifle in .30-06 designed by Melvin Johnson. It saw WWII service in small numbers with US Marine paratroopers and the Dutch KNIL, and is known for its rotary magazine.
