About the Lee Enfield No.5 Jungle Carbine
The Lee Enfield No.5 Mk I 'Jungle Carbine' is a shortened, lightened version of the No.4 rifle in .303 British, introduced in 1944 for fighting in the Far East. It is recognisable by its flared flash hider and rubber butt pad.

Lee Enfield No. 5 Jungle Carbine Upper Wood – Collectible Restoration Part
I received the item in about a week to ten days, with tracking updates every day. Item was as pictured exactly. Made of the same wood as my no5. It required a lot of fitting, a small rasp will do. about 1/4" was removed from the back of the handguard and around the barrel band area. Maybe 2hrs to fit at a leisurely pace. It didn't require more than a few minutes of sanding. I stained it dark walnut, and you can't tell its not an original part! Happy and worth it, esp as the originals can't be sourced anymore.
Great quality products. Better than the original Enfield stocks!
Fits well on the rifle. Now if I could find a retaing ring alls well
