Lee Enfield No.1 MK.lll Lower Forestock "B" Grades
Lee Enfield No.1 MK.lll Lower Forestock "B" Grades
Couldn't load pickup availability
Solid walnut lower forestock, used for restoration for original stocks, these parts require minimal fit up and final sanding, shipped in raw wood with no finish to allow you to do full raw fit up and the finish sand and seal. Typical finishes used are boiled linseed oil or tung oil. For your safety, we Highly recommend the fit up being done by a professional gun smith.
These are the same caliber of stocks as our "A" grade stocks but have a chip or a small void or knot, we supplied pictures of typical blemishes that happen and we grade them to "B" grades. What you receive will be internally accurate but has a cosmetic flaw that can easily be fixed, but we cant sell them as our "A" grade, and we dont want to see the beautiful walnut go to waste.

I was lucky enough to purchase a B grade stock. The gun is a shooter and not so much an authentic display gun. It had a defect in the four stock which kept it from being a grade A.
For the price, it was very well worth it. It required a fair amount of Dremel work. But this is well known and expected. I was quite surprised, though that I was able to get it together in about two days.
I appreciate the opportunity and if they have B stock products available do not hesitate to use them if you do not mind some non-structural imperfections.
I bought a second I was a beautiful stock I had to do some and letting the stock was fantastic!
