About the Norwegian Krag-Jørgensen M1894
The Norwegian Krag-Jørgensen M1894, often called the "long Krag", was Norway's standard service rifle, formally adopted by the Norwegian Army in 1894 and the most common Krag in Norway. Designed by Ole Herman Johannes Krag and Erik Jørgensen, it's chambered in 6.5×55mm, a cartridge developed jointly with Sweden. Its side-loading magazine with a hinged cover sets it apart, and Krags remain popular with collectors and shooters for their smooth action.

The piece will require a final fitting. The cut out for the rear sight is too far back. Creating a large gap between the receiver and hand guard. The gap then appears to overlap the front handguard.
