Solid walnut Upper Wood set, used for restoration for original stocks, these parts require minimal fit up and final sanding, shipped in raw wood with no finish to allow you to do full raw fit up and the finish sand and seal. Typical finishes used are boiled linseed oil or tung oil. For your safey, we Highly recommend the fit up being done by a professional gun smith.

I received the item in about a week to ten days, with tracking updates every day. Item was as pictured exactly. Made of the same wood as my no5. It required a lot of fitting, a small rasp will do. about 1/4" was removed from the back of the handguard and around the barrel band area. Maybe 2hrs to fit at a leisurely pace. It didn't require more than a few minutes of sanding. I stained it dark walnut, and you can't tell its not an original part! Happy and worth it, esp as the originals can't be sourced anymore.
Great quality products. Better than the original Enfield stocks!
