Restore your Lee Enfield No.1 Mk III with this precision-milled lower forestock, crafted in solid walnut and supplied unfinished to allow accurate final fitting, sanding, and sealing.

Machined to original WWI-era dimensions, this lower forestock preserves the correct channeling, contours, and fitment for museum-grade restorations or collectible display rifles. This piece replaces the main lower fore-end wood that runs beneath the barrel on the No.1 Mk III pattern. (Metal fittings, nose cap, screws, and barrel assembly not included.)

Era / Historical Context

Adopted in 1907, the Lee Enfield No.1 Mk III became one of the most widely issued rifles of World War I, serving British and Commonwealth forces throughout the conflict and well into the inter-war period.

  • Recommended finish: Boiled linseed oil or tung oil for an authentic early 20th-century sheen.
  • Intended use: Historical restoration and collectible display.
