About the Lee Enfield No.4
The Lee Enfield No.4 Mk I is a .303 British bolt-action rifle adopted in 1941 and Britain's main service rifle through WWII and Korea. The Mk 2 followed in 1949 with the trigger hung from the receiver, and the L42A1 is a 7.62 mm sniper conversion of the No.4.
