Have Questions?
Sorry for the delay in responding. I was very pleased with the prompt delivery of my stock. I am impressed with the quality of the wood and inletting. I have the inletting about 95% complete, and am taking care to go slowly and carefully. The only problem I have encountered so far is that the left rear side of the stock (behind the magazine cut-off) is just very slightly low, but I'm confident this problem will be corrected with just a little more inletting to get that portion of the action to fit flush with the stock. Also I noticed the handguards appear to be Birch. I can stain them to match the walnut of the stock, so this is not a serious issue. Just curious why they are a different wood? Overall I am very pleased with the stock. Thank you all very much.
While I am still I the process of inletting my stock to the rifle (for the first time) it has gone great! The shipping was fast as could be and what I got was great quality.
I was pretty hesitant to spend this kind of money but it turns out it was completely worth it to restore my project.
